SIGNATURE SERIES
Boston Lyric Opera and the MFA introduce the new Signature Series, a lively exploration of the operas in BLO's 2009-2010 Season. Each program in the Series focuses on one opera and employs a different art form to explore a theme in the opera including film, visual arts, theater, and music.

OPERA 101
Get inside the composers’ minds, learn about the historical context of the operas, and discover other fun factoids!

BLO OPEN HOUSE
The doors of the Shubert Theatre will be wide open. Everyone’s invited for free performances, backstage tours and more!

FREE one-hour lecture and musical mini-performance about the upcoming production.

OPERA FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES

February – April 2009 - The Barber of Seville
Family performances will be scheduled in Boston, Weston and several other Metro Boston communities in the spring of 2010. School performances will be at venues throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. DATES & LOCATIONS TBA.
