BLO Meets Bernstein: Concert and Panel Discussion
Festival of the Creative Arts
Free and open to the community

Leonard Bernstein directed the world premiere of Trouble in Tahiti at Brandeis’s Festival of the Creative Arts in 1952. This year, BLO kicks off the Festival with a short concert and a panel discussion of Trouble in Tahiti and Arias & Barcarolles, featuring members of the Brandeis music department and BLO artistic leadership.

The Signature Series Celebrates Leonard Bernstein
This spring, Boston Lyric Opera brings the vitality and artistry of Leonard Bernstein across Greater Boston as we honor the 100th anniversary of his birth. BLO artists perform a short concert of music from throughout Bernstein’s canon at partnering institutions, paired with experts and discussions that illuminate various aspects of his rich musical and personal life, as well as the upcoming BLO production of Trouble in Tahiti and Arias & Barcarolles.
