Join us for some of opera’s greatest hits\, musical theatre\, and more in front of Curtis Hall’s landmark facade\, nestled between the Jamaica Plain branch of the Boston Public Library and the historic Loring Greenough House. Come early to participate in the Loring Greenough’s “Thursdays on the Lawn” event\, where you can enjoy food trucks\, a beer garden\, and community before heading next door to Curtis Hall for our exciting concert program!\n \nFeatured Performers:\nMorgan Mastrangelo (tenor)\nJunhan Choi (baritone)\nJi Yung Lee (pianist)  \nLearn more about Curtis Hall.\n \nLearn more about Loring Greenough House and Thursdays on the Lawn.\nThis program is free and welcomes audiences of all ages. Playbills with texts and English translations of the multilingual program will be available on site.   \nStreet Stage is supported by the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture and the City of Boston through the Neighborhood and Downtown Activation Grant.  \nSTREET STAGE: WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!  \n \nArrival  \nArrive any time after 4PM to enjoy activities at the Loring Greenough House during Thursdays on the Lawn. BLO staff will be on site in front of Curtis Hall to provide programs and answer questions.   \nSeating  \nSeating is available on the open grass and brick seating structures. You are welcome to bring a blanket or lawn chair. A limited number of chairs will be provided on site. Please prioritize seating for anyone with accessibility needs.  \n \nAccessibility  \nThe Curtis Hall driveway is wheelchair accessible. If you need any special accommodations\, please email access@blo.org.  \n \nWeather  \nStreet Stage will proceed in a variety of weather conditions\, including direct sun and light drizzle. In the case of severe inclement weather (including storms\, strong winds\, and extreme heat) BLO staff will update our website with the new performance time. Register for the event to receive an email with weather-related updates.  \nPublic Transit   \nCurtis Hall is within walking distance of the MBTA Green Street stop (Orange Line). It is also on the 38 and 39 bus routes.  \nParking\nParking is available at the City of Boston Municipal Lot #6 located at 11 Thomas St\, Jamaica Plain\, MA 02130. There is limited metered parking along South Street in Jamaica Plain. Please check signs for resident-only and bus lane restrictions. There is no parking at Curtis Hall. \nFood & Beverages  \nFood and beverages are welcome on site\, and many vendors will be available at the Loring Greenough House. We encourage you to bring water. Alcohol consumption is prohibited at Curtis Hall. Recently\, Garrett returned to Washington National Opera as Crown in Porgy and Bess\, sang The Reverend in Blue with the Lyric Opera of Chicago\, debuted at San Francisco Opera singing Abdul and Abe in Omar\, returned to LA Opera as Bob in William Grant Still’s Highway 1\, USA\,\nperformed Masetto in Don Giovanni with Houston Grand Opera\, sang Jochanaan in Salome with Des Moines Metro Opera\, and debuted as Macbeth with Opera Orlando.
