Boston Lyric Opera presents a preview of its 80th anniversary production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel as part of GBH’s Boston Public Radio. Hosts Jim Braude and Margery Egan will interview BLO’s Stanford Calderwood General Director & CEO Bradley Vernatter alongside Lee Pelton, President & CEO of the Boston Foundation who will also play the roles of the Starkeeper/Dr. Seldon. Excerpts from the opera will be performed by Chelsea Basler, soprano; Mary Kray, mezzo-soprano; and Brendon Shapiro, pianist.
