Have you ever wondered how classically trained singers create such powerful, beautiful, and emotionally rich sounds – all without amplification? Join Boston Lyric Opera artists for an inspiring, informative, and interactive concert that explores how opera has revolutionized vocal and compositional techniques throughout history. Journey through centuries of soundscapes as artists demonstrate their virtuosic singing abilities and share insights about their training and the historical origins of the bel canto (“beautiful singing”) style. The evening will include live performance, engaging commentary, and an audience Q&A.
