Lydia Jane Graeff
Lydia Jane Graeff is a Resident Teaching Artist for Boston Lyric Opera. Her main duties include teaching opera creation and performance in classrooms, providing professional development for BPS teachers, and directing and performing in BLO’s annual Artist Classroom Visit production. Lydia also serves as a year-round Teaching Artist and Director for Company One Theatre and Wellesley Theatre Project. Since moving to Boston in 2014, she has worked as a Teaching Artist with Huntington Theatre Company, The Boch Center, The Mosesian Center for the Arts, Artbarn Community Theatre, and Somerville Public Schools. Lydia also performs for Lyric Stage Company as a cast member of Kidstage at the Boston Children’s Museum and as an improviser for ComedySportz. When not teaching drama, Lydia facilitates trainings for college and university residence life leaders and incoming students on communication and leadership, Title IX laws, and bystander intervention.
