Join Boston Lyric Opera singers and members of the BLO orchestra for a musical gathering that brings warmth, light, and connection to the cold winter season. This vibrant concert and conversation brings to life the moving, expressive music of 20th-century American composer Samuel Barber, celebrating music’s power to transform difficult emotion into beauty. The program also honors Boston’s proud legacy of fostering revolutionary American artistry—from Barber’s performances and premieres to the city’s ongoing role as a hub for musical innovation and creativity.
