Julius Caesar arrives to conquer Egypt—or will Cleopatra conquer him? Intrigue and passion abound in Handel’s greatest opera, which traces the epic political struggle and the transcendent love story that ignited an empire and anointed a queen. Don’t miss the opportunity to see this Baroque gem in a fully-realized, grand-scale installation that only Boston Lyric Opera can create.

Featuring David Trudgen, Jacquelyn Stucker, Wallis Giunta, Renée Tatum, Siman Chung, David McFerrin, and Gina Perregrino

Pagliacci and Giulio Cesare will be presented within the DCR Steriti Memorial Rink in Boston’s North End. BLO previously used the large, ground-level facility for our May 2019 production of Trouble in Tahiti and Arias & Barcarolles, as well as a rehearsal space for its 2016 production of Carmen, which required choreography that included six Mercedes Benzes.

ACCESSIBILITY: Steriti Rink is accessible by stairs or a ramp to the main entrance.

RESTROOMS: All restrooms are straight ahead when you enter the lobby and are marked by signs.

AMENITIES: A self-serve coat check will be available in the lobby. Concessions will be available.
