2022/23 Season

Our 2022/23 season is full of many thrilling moments with four live, in-person operas, featuring the spectrum of the opera canon – Gounod’s musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s star-crossed lovers, Romeo & Juliet; a visionary treatment of La bohème — Puccini’s timeless story of love and loss; a double-bill presentation of Bartók’s psychological drama, Bluebeard’s Castle and Alma Mahler’s Four Songs; a New England premiere of Omar, a new work with a luminous score—composed by Rhiannon Giddens and Michael Abels.
