Ticketing Policies & Accessibility Information

Ticketing Policies

Discounts: Any and all discounts that BLO may offer are not applicable to orders already processed.

Refunds
All purchases are nonrefundable, but if you can’t make a production your tickets can be turned back to BLO for a tax-deductible donation.
Quartet subscribers can exchange tickets for a missed performance within one (1) business day of the performance for a flat $10 fee.

Exchanges

Subscribers and members can exchange their tickets before their performance at no extra charge. BLO’s Audience Services team will find similar seating to your original seat(s), depending upon availability. Please submit your request through the Subscriber Ticket Exchange Form.

To complete the exchange or donation, all tickets being exchanged or donated need to be sent back to BLO by at least 48 hours before the performance to:

Boston Lyric OperaMidway Artist Studios15 Channel Center St. #106Boston MA 02210

Non-subscribers can exchange their tickets before their performance for a flat $10 fee.

Downgrades: Any difference in cost between performances due to availability is non-refundable.

Please note that Premium Seats (AA Zone) are at a higher cost on Opening Nights as they include access to Opening Night Parties – if you exchange out of Premium Seats on Opening Night, the difference in cost is non-refundable.

Please be respectful to others—behavior that jeopardizes the well-being or safety of staff or the audience may result in BLO refusing service to ensure a great experience for everyone.
