Join us for The Opera Gala, Boston Lyric Opera’s signature fundraising event highlighting BLO’s commitment to providing accessible pathways to opera for everyone. This one-of-a-kind gathering will feature Verdi’s triumphal masterpiece Aida in a special staged concert performance, an immersive dining experience, and special performances while providing an opportunity to show your support for BLO’s community initiatives, including BLO’s first community opera, Benjamin Britten’s Noah’s Flood. Tickets to The Opera Gala begin at $1,500 (of which $1,147 is tax deductible), with event sponsorships starting at $5,000. All gala packages include tickets to the Aida performance. Join friends and fellow opera lovers for a behind-the-scenes look at BLO's upcoming production of Aida. Artistic Director Nina Yoshida Nelsen will lead a conversation with Music Director David Angus and Staging Coordinator Nathan Troup about this unique one-night only performance. The evening will include a complementary reception with drinks and light bites and the opportunity to observe a rehearsal with principal cast members. This event is open to BLO Members.
