These provocative preludes to the operas in BLO’s season take place at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and employ a variety of art forms such as film, visual arts, theater, and music to highlight a theme in the opera.
“Farce Italian Style–A Musical Afternoon with Composer John Musto”
Spend a fascinating hour with acclaimed composer John Musto. Well-known for his very successful operas of great comic brio and songs of lyric grace, he will be joined by BLO Music Director David Angus and a group of BLO Emerging Artists in presenting some delightful highlights from his widely ranging repertory including excerpts from BLO’s production of The Inspector.

Tickets are $50 per person (and are sold separately from the presentation ticket). The receptions often sell out–so purchase your tickets in advance!
