Ticketing Policies
Sales & Refunds
All sales are final. No refunds. This ticket is a revocable license subject to all terms, conditions, and policies established by Boston Lyric Opera (BLO), and this license may be revoked without refund for noncompliance. Any conduct deemed by BLO, in its sole discretion, to be disorderly, disruptive, or unsafe shall result in automatic termination of the Holder’s license. This ticket does not authorize resale without BLO’s prior express consent. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be void. BLO reserves the right to suspend orders suspected of fraud and hold tickets for “Will Call” pickup (valid photo ID and credit card required). Prices, performances, dates, and times are subject to change without notice.
Exchanges & Donations
Exchanges may be made up to 48 hours prior to a performance for a different date or production within the current season. Exchanges are free for current BLO Season Ticket Holders (Subscribers); non-subscribers incur a $10 per order fee. If you cannot attend, tickets may be donated to BLO for a tax deduction (return physical tickets at least 48 hours pre-performance).
Premium Seats & Downgrades
Premium Seats (AA Zone) exchanged out of Opening Night forfeit access to Opening Night events, and price differences are non-refundable. Any difference in cost between performances due to availability is non-refundable.
Discounts and Promotions
Discounts and promotions apply only to new orders and cannot be applied retroactively.
General Conduct & Photography
Every guest requires a ticket. Unauthorized photography, recording, or transmission of performances is prohibited. Holder grants BLO permission to use their image/likeness in event-related media. Please be respectful to others—behavior that jeopardizes the well-being or safety of staff or the audience may result in BLO refusing service to ensure a great experience for everyone.
