The health and safety of our patrons, staff, artists, and community is our top priority.

Boston Lyric Opera will continue to be guided by federal, state, and public health advice and comply with all local government regulations when implementing health and safety protocols for our return to the theatre. To see what steps BLO is currently taking to keep audiences safe at our public programs, you may visit blo.org/streetstage or email boxoffice@blo.org for a copy of one of our COVID-19 Control Plans.

We will communicate details about health and safety protocols as we get closer to each production. BLO is committed to flexibility for any ticket holders who need to change or return their tickets for COVID-related reasons.

BLO performs in a variety of venues. This Season we will be performing in three different spaces: DCR Steriti Memorial Rink for Pagliacci and Giulio Cesare, Robert J. Orchard Stage at the Emerson Paramount Center for Fellow Travelers, and the Emerson Cutler Majestic Theater for Norma. For more information including details about the venue, directions and parking, and dining and entertainment options, please visit the individual show pages.

Running time and intermission varies for each opera. To learn more about what to expect and for the most up-to-date information, please visit the show page for the show or shows you are attending.

  • Opera Annex Post-Show Talkbacks
Stick around after the show for our informal, half-hour panels that include cast and creative team members in an informal discussion. Listen to candid conversations about the performance process and what happened onstage that day or evening.
